1. What We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:
- Your name and email address (for account creation)
- Case details you voluntarily provide (dispute description, evidence, dates)
- Jurisdiction and claim amount
- Payment information (processed securely by Lemon Squeezy; we never see your card details)
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate your court documents
- To communicate with you about your case
- To process payments
- To improve our service (anonymised, aggregated data only)
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Your case data is stored in encrypted form on Supabase (EU West region)
- All connections use TLS 1.3 encryption
- We use JWT authentication for API access
- Passwords are hashed, so we cannot see or recover them
4. AI Processing
Case narratives may be processed by AI language models to structure your timeline and evidence. This processing is:
- Limited to the minimum data needed for extraction
- Not used for AI model training
- Transient: processed then discarded by the AI provider
5. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and NZ Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
- Access your data at any time through your dashboard
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies:
- Authentication token (JWT), stored in memory, not persisted to disk
- Session identifier, expires when you close your browser
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
Case data is retained for 12 months after case completion, then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
